The Quaking Houses Village hall has achieved quite a surprising amount for what it wants to achieve: to create a peaceful, warm yet fun environment for local people. It appears to have been as easy as riding a bike. At least that’s what we’d hoped to be the case. Whilst the people working there have been able to achieve quite a few of its goals, there is still so much more to do and in particular, what it hopes to do in the future to improve its quality of help and broaden its facilities.

One major part of this is volunteers.

Sadly, since it mainly supplies in volunteer work, not many people feel up to working for community service for free. However, this doesn't deny the fact that there is still a desire for more volunteers. Having more volunteers could help with supplying for more events and allow them to open up more activities to allow for greater opportunities for the young people to create memories and allow for any volunteers to gain more experience.

For example, the manager would like to implement more activities such as: kids sewing club, a man’s club to bring awareness to the issues in mental health for males as well as adult and young people's skating. In addition to this, they want to implement a kids council as well in order to give them a voice as well as build confidence for them to ask for what they’d want rather than letting the adults decide everything for them.
