The Tees Valley International Film Festival provided a great opportunity for budding creative artists in the region to build connections and get involved in the process of film-making.
The festival, which was running for a second year, began with a screening of Ken Loach's new film, The Old Oak.
After the screening there was then a Q&A session with Dave Turner and Chris McGlade, two of the films leading actors.
Actor Robson Green was the headline guest of the final night of the festival and he was interviewed by Bill Fellows, who currently plays Stu Carpenter in Coronation Street.
Michael Luke, the festival director, said: "As well as a great entertainment for the area, the festival is here to get local people involved in filmmaking, acting and writing, and to create more opportunities for those already involved in creative media."
He explained that up and coming filmmakers from all over the world submitted their short films to the festival.

Winners in each category were presented with awards, many of them were from Teesside and Darlington.
The Tees Valley International Film Festival returns to Arc in Stockton in November 2024.
