A 64-year-old man has been slapped with a fixed penalty notice after being caught fly tipping in Jubilee Park in Willington.
The incident was caught on the park's CCTV and an investigation was carried out by a member of the Wardens Fly Tipping Investigation Team.
The man was interviewed and he accepted responsibility for the crime.
He has been forced to pay a £400 fine for the offence.

A Durham County Council Neighbourhood Warden spokesperson said: "A male aged 65 from Crook has been issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice in relation to a Fly Tipping offence in the Jubilee Picnic area of Willington.
"The offence was captured on CCTV, and an investigation was carried out by a Member of the Wardens Fly Tipping Investigation Team.

"The male was interviewed and reluctantly accepted responsibility for the offence.
"The Fixed Penalty Notice set at £400, needs to paid within 14 days or the male will be prosecuted for the offence.
