Crowds of countryfolk gathered for the annual Eggleston country show over the weekend.
Hundreds of people, and animals, came together at Hayberries Farm in Mickleton for its 147th yearly gathering on Saturday (September 17).
There were a host of showings with sheep races and a parade of the winners while visitors were able to enjoy local delicacies at some of the stalls on offer.

Competitions were held for all ages with animal classes, produce and arts and crafts and competitions for the children.
Classes included cattle, sheep, horses, driving and show jumping, gun and pet dogs, vegetables and vintage tractors.
And the horticultural and industrial tents were full of impressive vegetables, flowers, crafts, cookery and children’s entries.
It is one of the last shows in the summer's calendar of country events.
The events give the region’s farmers the chance to show off their finest livestock, while the many produce and craft stalls are always a hit with visitors.
