Middleton Hall Retirement Village is celebrating Care Home Open Week 2023 with an open invitation for people to come and visit.

Care Home Open Week, which runs from June 26 – July 2, 2023, is an annual event that celebrates the valuable contributions of care homes and promotes transparency, understanding, and engagement within the care sector.

This year’s event is focused on connecting communities and the team at Middleton Hall Retirement Village are looking forward to sharing all the great things that happen in the village’s well-regarded care services every day.

Within the award-winning retirement village in Middleton St George near Darlington, there are a range of different types of residential care services to suit individual needs.

The attractive, spacious apartments in Middleton Grove allow residents to live independently with support as needed.  Middleton Gardens provides person-centred residential care and Middleton Oaks supports residents with memory and cognition difficulties in a small group living environment.

Residents in Middleton Court’s higher dependency residential care service require a greater level of care and support due to their physical care and mobility needs. This includes those living with progressive neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, those who have suffered a stroke, and those requiring full assistance with moving and handling.

Working closely with residents, their families and other healthcare professionals, the care team create an individual care/support plan to meet the residents’ needs and personal preferences.

For the duration of Care Home Open Week 2023, people are being invited to call in and look around the care services and meet some residents who live there.
