We spent much longer here that we expected. The staff are welcoming friendly and helpful, parking is easy too. The café offers good quality and good value food, the staff there are equally friendly. We finished lunch with the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever had!"

Locomotion
Location: Dale Road Industrial Estate, Shildon, DL4 2RE
Rating: 4.5/5
Someone left a review, saying: "First time at Locomotion and we will definitely be back. Went during these holidays and there was plenty on for the kids. My kids are 7&8 and they enjoyed making model trains out of recycled items and making designs with colourful chalks as well as looking at the trains. Staff very friendly and happy to help. Free entry, free parking which is a bonus. Lovely cafe but we took a picnic. Play park not massive but kept kids entertained for a short while.
