Work has started on a£28m 10-acre site in Catterick to deliver 135 new-build homes.
Located just four miles from Richmond town centre on Cookson Way, the development will comprise a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes and feature 11 of Avant Homes’ house types.
Called Brompton Mews, the development received planning permission in August last year.
The overall build programme is estimated to take approximately three years.

Of the 135 homes being built, 30 per cent are affordable housing with eight dwellings to be affordable rented and 32 dwellings to be discount market sale.
Avant Homes North East managing director, Don Anderson, said: “Brompton Mews is an exciting opportunity to extend our presence in the Richmondshire area, and we’re pleased to have commenced work to deliver 135 new homes for Catterick.
