Burnmoor joined Hetton Lyons as joint leaders of the Warmseal Durham Senior League after grabbing extra points in a high scoring victory over Eppleton.
Opener Jimmy Daley hit another century as the Moor posted 246-3 but try as they did the visitors fell 25 runs short after a battling reply in which Kyle Davis hit 74 and Karl Watson made a half century.
Hetton Lyons had to settle for ten points less in their win over South Hetton in which the high scoring Shaun Birbeck was dismissed for the first time in five innings.
It did, however, give him the opportunity to get an average - and with 371 runs to his name that's extra special.
In contrast, Philadelphia's bowlers had a field day in the defeat of Horden who were humbled for just 58. Ben Raine (4-15) and David Rutherford (4-21) took them to a maximum points victory.
