AN amateur football exhibition will take place next week, showcasing the collection of a former grassroots soccer stalwart.
The Arthur Clark Collection will be on display at Crook Library in County Durham on Thursday, April 3 from 7.30pm.
Mr Clark was a former secretary of Crook Town and a chairman of the Northern League.
The event will be opened by Hilary Armstrong MP, and tickets are free, as are refreshments.
As well as the exhibits, there will be newsreel footage of the 1954 FA Amateur Cup final between Crook Town and Bishop Auckland, and other memorable cup finals involving North-East sides.
