A TEENAGE boy has been charged with the murder of a 22-month-old baby.
The baby boy died from head injuries on 17 May.
He was taken to Hull General Infirmary from a house on Maple Drive in Scarborough but desperate efforts by medics could not save him.
The 17-year-old, from the Scarborough area, has also been charged with two sexual offences.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said that the youth would appear before Scarborough magistrates.
