DRUGS and cash have been seized from a house in Stockton following a number of reports connected to antisocial behaviour.

Cleveland Police raided the property on Northcote Street in Parkfield earlier this month and seized around £2,000 worth of cannabis and £400 in cash along with other drugs paraphernalia.

Two men aged 19 and 28 were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs. They have been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.

Inspector Mark Doherty, from Stockton Neighbourhood Policing Team, urged more residents to come forward with information.

He said: “This is another example of police acting on information given to us by the public.

"We would always encourage anyone with information on drugs activity in their local area to contact us and report it so that action can be taken.”

Anyone who has information regarding drugs activity in their area is asked to call Cleveland Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or visit www.crimestoppers-uk.org
