POLICE are investigating an incident in Weardale involving a man suffering gunshot wounds.
The incident happened at around 11am this morning on private land surrounding Newlands Hall and West Newlands Farm on the A689 between Wolsingham and Frosterley.
Nobody else was reported to have been involved in the incident.
The extent of his injuries have not yet been confirmed.
