A MAN is in hospital with a puncture wound to his neck after reports of an "altercation" yesterday evening.
Cleveland Police were called to Parliament Street in Stockton at around 6.20pm after a report that a man had been injured.
He was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough for treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and he is said to be in a "comfortable" condition.
No one has been arrested at present, however, detectives are continuing with their investigation today and are urging any witnesses who may have seen the incident or may have information to get in touch.
