A MAN who had been reported as missing has been found dead at a County Durham reservoir.
Durham Police had been looking for Paul Ratcliffe, 32, from Stanley, who had last been seen at his home in Langdon Gardens at around 12pm on Monday.
Police say they have found a body in a wooded area beside Pow Hill Picnic Site at Derwent Reservoir.
A police spokesperson said: "We’re sorry to report a body has been found in the search for missing man, Paul Ratcliffe.
"The body was found in a wooded area beside Pow Hill Picnic Site on the Derwent Reservoir at around 4.30pm yesterday (Monday, July 30).
"Formal identification has yet to take place, however it is believed to be the body of Mr Ratcliffe. His family have been informed."
