West Auckland Road, at the junction of Auckland Oval
A CYCLIST was taken to hospital following a crash in Darlington at lunchtime on Thursday.
The injured man was involved in a one-vehicle crash involving a car and his bike, just after 12.30pm.
The incident took place at the junction of Auckland Oval and West Auckland Road, leading to road closures for a short time.
The cyclist was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be serious.
The road has reopened.
