A MAN indecently exposed himself to a group of girls before attempting to lure them away, say police.
Bishop Auckland Police said the incident took place in Shildon between 3.45pm and 4.15pm on Sunday.
Officers said a man in his 20s was seen walking across the Jubilee Fields when he indecently exposed himself to a group of young girls and made a bid to "lure them away".
The suspect was described as being of slim build, wearing red tracksuit bottoms and a black beanie hat.
He was also seen with black headphones.
Anyone with information should contact PC 2973 Adam Batey on 101 quoting reference number 326 of July 15.
