A ROBBERY in the early hours of Saturday morning has seen a 29-year-old man targeted for his mobile phone.
The man had been walking along Linthorpe Road, in Middlesbrough, between Fatso's and the Sticky Fingers Cafe and Rock Bar when he was attacked.
Cleveland Police believe the incident occurred between 1.50am and 2am when a man approached the victim, grabbed him and then took his Galaxy Samsung phone.
The suspect is thought to have made off on foot, heading in the direction of King Edward's Square and Teesside University.
He is described as being around 6ft tall and of slim build.
He was wearing a white hooded top and light-coloured tracksuit bottoms at the time of the incident.
