EMERGENCY services were called to the scene of an accident on the A19 southbound near Knayton in North Yorkshire this morning.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said that a Lexus car clipped the central reservation and officers were sent to the scene shortly after 11am today (Friday, June 29).
There were no other cars involved and the driver declined an ambulance and is not believed to have been injured in the crash.
Traffic was initially brought to a standstill as emergency services dealt with the incident and delays continued throughout the late morning.
The incident was left in the hands of the Highways Agency and all lanes are now open.
