PLANS for to erect a new workshop, store, garage, camping pods and access works at Viewforth, in Marwood, near Barnard Castle have been submitted to Durham County Council. Three new buildings and the removal of an existing corrugated metal shed are included in the plans as well as upgrading an existing field access and providing a new parking area, camping pod area and tree planting. The plans have been submitted by Philip Bastow who hopes to run a cabinet-making and woodwork teaching business from the site while encouraging workshop participants to stay in the new camping pods.
