A WORKSHOP is being held in Northallerton to help patients plan their future healthcare.
The NHS Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby CCG, which buys health services for the local population, is holding the workshop called “Planning the best care for your future”.
It takes place on June 28 at the Golden Lion Hotel from 2pm and will also incorporate NHS 70th birthday celebrations.
A variety of topics will be discussed at the free workshop, including getting older and planning for end of life care.
The workshop theme aims to address the stigma associated with dying and to provide patients and their loved ones with the knowledge to best prepare.
The informal discussions take place before the CCG’s Annual General Meeting which starts at 3.30pm.
