BURGLARS stole £3,000 worth of jewellery from a home in a County Durham market town earlier this month.
The thieves took the items during the overnight raid at a property on The Lendings, Barnard Castle, on June 2.
Police officers recovered some items during a search by the town's river but there are still several items missing.
They include a 25-year-old opal and sapphire cluster ring with a 9ct gold band; a ladies silver Accurist watch and a pair of sapphire and diamond stud earrings.
A Pandora silver bracelet containing numerous charms such as a snow charm, round charm with K on it, round charm with a globe on it, scales, dog, black penguin, New York and a Mum charm was also taken.
Several rings are still missing too including an 18ct gold v-shaped wedding ring with diamond detail, a gold engagement ring, gold opal ring and garnet and pearl ring.
An orange Stihl chainsaw with a 14-inch blade was also taken.
A spokesman for Durham Constabulary said: “Has anyone been offered this jewellery for sale? Have you heard who is responsible? If you have any information at all please get in touch.”
