A DEAL or No Deal fruit machine was stolen from a social club by masked men.
Durham Police were called to Coundon Working Men’s Club near Bishop Auckland at 11pm on Friday, May 11, following reports of a fruit machine theft.
The club was open to the public at the time and witnesses described three men with their faces covered entering the club, picking up the Deal or No Deal machine and loading it into the back of a grey Renault van. The machine, inspired by the ITV game show presented by Noel Edmonds, was later recovered half a mile away from the address.
