RESIDENTS across the region are being invited to a GP-led workshop to learn more about local health care services.
The area’s Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding a workshop called “Planning the best care for your future” on June 28 at the Golden Lion Hotel in Northallerton.
Dr Charles Parker, local GP and clinical chair of the CCG, said: “We know from public engagement that better planning of care, particularly for those reaching the end of life can have a much more positive impact on services, patients and their families.
“We therefore hope that this workshop will start important conversations and help capture ideas and suggestions from our local population.”
The free workshop follows the CCG’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) which starts at 2pm.
The AGM will include details of progress made during the past year in local healthcare and updates on current financial challenges in the NHS and projects on the horizon.
To book a place, call 01609-767621 before June 22.
