FAMILY fun will be on offer when Bishop Auckland Town Team hosts an Easter Eggstavaganza on Saturday, March 31 between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
There will be live entertainment, face painting, an Easter egg hunt around the town centre and mascot Bishop the Boar will make guest appearances.
Clive Auld, chairman of the events team, said: "There are 12 shops in the town which will have a basket of coloured eggs displayed in their windows and all you need to do is write down the colour of the eggs.
"Entry forms will delivered to all the schools and copies will be available from the Town Team volunteers located inside the Newgate Shopping Centre on the day.
"In addition there will be a grand tombola, some live entertainment and free face painting for the children."
