A MAN smashed his partner's glass wardrobes and then sent her a picture.

Ethan Scholick, of Eastdebe Way, Peterlee, was found by police officers in his partner's address after they were called following the incident in the early hours of February 12.

At Newton Aycliffe magistrates court yesterday, the court heard how the pair had been arguing and police officers escorted Scholick home and his partner to her sister's address.

However, hours later the police were called again and arrested Scholick at the address after being shown the photograph.

In mitigation, Scholick, 26, was said to have had too much to drink and had since fixed the wardrobes himself.

Magistrate Lorraine Overton gave him a conditional discharge and ordered him to pay £105 in costs.
