MASSIVE tailbacks caused commuter misery for drivers on Teesside today.
A broken down vehicle is believed to have led to the miles of queues on the A19, A66 and A174.
Traffic was queuing on the A174 towards Hemlington, on the A19 from the Thornaby turn-off and beyond and on the A66 from towards Middlesbrough from Eaglescliffe.
