THE Northern Echo Camera Club has gone from strength to strength since it was launched two years ago, and here we publish the brilliant photos taken by our members in 2017 .
The Northern Echo’s photographic coordinator Sarah Caldecott, who runs the camera club, chooses her favourite images of the year. Sarah says: “It was very difficult to choose a small number of photographs from all the amazing images that the club has produced this year.
"I have tried to choose a selection of images that shows the variety and talent The Northern Echo Camera Club has to offer.
"I would just like to say thank you to all the members who contribute to the club’s Facebook page and those who meet on the first Tuesday of each month at the Echo's headquarters, we really do have some of the most incredible photographers.”
The club, which now has over 900 members, gives amateur photographers a unique opportunity to have their images published in The Northern Echo.
