TWO men were arrested following a pub brawl involving 30 people.
Youngsters looked on as around 30 people became embroiled in violent scenes before some of those involved fled from the scene in a blue BMW 3 series car.
A spokeswoman for Durham Constabulary told The Northern Echo that two men – aged 20 and 33 – were arrested in connection with the incident.
Both were released soon after, with the force still appealing for information in relation to the brawl.
Earlier this week, PC Helen Inglis said: “This attack involved a number of people, all of whom carried out the violence whilst children were present.
“The children and staff were understandably shaken by the incident.
“We’d encourage anyone who has any information to get in touch.”
Anyone with information should call Durham Constabulary on non-emergency number 101 quoting incident number 413 of November 26, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
