POLICE have seized power tools and a tablet from a known thief in Shildon.
Officers are hoping to reunite the property with the rightful owners and are asking for anyone who may have had tools stolen to contact them via Facebook.
The confiscated tools include a black and yellow 12v Ryobi battery powered drill, a red and black Black and Decker electric drill and a blue and black battery powered drill.
The tablet seized is a black Sony Xperia.
Shildon Police posted pictures of the property online with a message that reads: “We recently seized this property from a known thief in Shildon. Does any of it belong to you?
“If so please send us a message and we will arrange for you to officially identify it and have it returned.”
Anyone who thinks the equipment may belong to them is asked to contact Shildon Police via their Facebook page.
