MOVIE magic and medleys will mix with classical music to entertain audience members at an upcoming show.
The annual Darlington Orchestra Winter Concert will return to the Dolphin Centre at 7.30pm on Saturday, January 27.
The concert will see performers present the work of a variety of classical composers and will feature a selection from Bizet's Carmen, Corelli and Dvorak and Richard Rodger's Slaughter on Tenth Avenue.
The informal and accessible event will also feature "movie magic" by John Williams"and entertainment from guest performers, the Esh Community Gospel Choir. Described as a family friendly event, the concert will be held in two parts of around 50 minutes each, with a 30 minute interval.
Age appropriate programmes will be available for adults and children providing information about the composers and music being performed.
