A VILLAGE theatre group's latest production has got underway.
Gainford Drama Club’s production of Not Now Darling received a "rapturous response" on the first night of eight performances on Thursday, November 16.
The fast-moving farce, directed by Lawrence Chandler set a challenge for the large cast of eleven actors which included long-standing members and newcomers.
Set design by John Lowery and Joan White incorporated a cityscape view through lavish drapes created by Ronnie Lowery to set the scene of an exclusive West End fur salon.
Performances continue until Saturday, November 25.
Tickets cost £8.
For tickets and more information visit gainforddramaclub.co.uk/whatson or call 01325-730485 Monday to Friday from 6pm to 8pm.
Although some performances are sold out, many are still available.
