YOUNG people aged between 11 and 19 could soon benefit from a pot of £9,902 that has been set aside by the 4 Together Partnership.
The funds have been allocated to support youth projects or community-based organisations to deliver opportunities to young people in Ferryhill, Chilton, West Cornforth and Bishop Middleham.
Not for profit organisations such as parish and town councils, community groups and sports clubs are eligible to apply for a grant between £1,000 and £3,000.
Projects should improve the social and emotional capabilities of young people and contribute to locality and countywide priorities such as those in the County Durham Children Young People and Families Plan.
To apply for a grant applicants need to complete an expression of interest form available by emailing fouraap@durham.gov.uk or by contacting 03000-267210.
Applications are open till Sunday, November 26.
