A DRIVER who crashed into cars after suffering from a medical episode died from natural causes.
Police investigating the fatal crash, which happened in Sherburn Road, Durham, at around 12.25pm on Friday, October 20 say the motorist died from natural causes.
Barry Bartholomew, 56, from Easington, died after suffering a medical episode at the wheel of his Jaguar and colliding with parked cars.
Mr Bartholomew was taken to University Hospital of North Durham where he was pronounced dead.
Officers have thanked members of the public who helped at the scene of the collision.
