BISHOP Auckland town centre is set to come to life with all things spooky on Saturday, October 28.
That's as Bishop Auckland Town Team host free ghoulish activities around the town to mark Halloween, between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
Spooky-themed magic, illusion and circus performances with Iain Jay's Trick or Treat session will be available inside the Newgate Shopping Centre from 11am until noon and again from 1.15pm until 2.15pm.
Children can have their faces painted for free.
Meanwhile, some spooky dancing from the Sandra Welsh School of Dance will take place in the Market Place at 11.30am and 1pm and Bishop The Boar will be making guest appearances throughout the day.
Children are also being encouraged to dress up in their favourite spooky costumes and join the Pumpkin Parade which starts in the Newgate Shopping Centre at 12.15pm.
Prizes will be available for the best dressed.
