ORGANISERS have been forced to cancel next weekend's Cleveland Show after they declared the site was unsafe.
The torrential rain of the past several weeks and a gloomy forecast has resulted in Stewart Park being too waterlogged for the event to go ahead.
A spokesman for Middlesbrough Council said: "With regret the organisers of the show have decided to cancel this year's event. It would be impossible for heavy vehicles to get onto the site and the conditions would be terrible for the public."
