TWO adult men, believed to be a father and son, were hurt when a quad bike overturned in the Yorkshire Dales at the weekend.
The incident happened on moorland near Tan Hill on Saturday afternoon shortly before 3.30pm and sparked a multi-agency response.
A spokesman for the fire service said they were told the two men had been trapped under the quad bike but no-one was trapped as they arrived at the scene.
The Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team also rushed to the scene but found they were not needed and and were able to leave the situation to the fire and ambulance services.
Police also attended the scene and a spokesman said afterwards one of the men was "walking wounded" while the other was flown to hospital by the Great North Air Ambulance.
