COLLISION: Lambton Drive, Bishop Auckland
AN ELDERLY woman pedestrian has been seriously injured after being hit by a reversing car.
The collision happened on Lambton Drive, in Bishop Auckland, at about 1.25pm on Sunday.
The road was closed for two hours while the collision investigation team from Durham Police attended the scene.
- Witnesses are asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 242 of September 17.
- Alternatively, they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555111.
