AWARDS: Six COunty Durham parks, including Wharton Park in Durham, are shortlisted for award
SIX County Durham parks are up for a national award.
Half a dozen of the county’s green spaces are shortlisted in the Park of the Year awards run by Keep Britain Tidy.
Blackhill Park, Annfield Plain Park, Chester-le-Street Riverside Park, Hardwick Park in Sedgefield, Wharton Park, in Durham and Bishop Auckland Town Recreation Ground are in the running for the People’s Choice Award.
