TWO men have been charged for a number of driving offences after a car crashed into a house following a police pursuit.
The pair were arrested after a black Mercedes went off-road from Ayresome Green Lane, in Middlesbrough, in the early hours of Wednesday morning before coming to rest in living room of a family home.
Christopher Chapman, 29, of Costa Street, Middlesbrough, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking and driving while disqualified, among other offences.
He is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today.
Lee Harvey, 26, of Montrose Street, Middlesbrough, has been bailed after being charged with aggravated vehicle taking.
He is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 18.
