THE Richmondshire Concerts box office has opened for a 70th anniversary gala season.
The six-concert series, beginning on September 23, will see a number of classical musicians head to the North of England.
The prize-winning New York-based Escher String Quartet will take to the stage, as well as the New London Chamber Ensemble of wind instruments.
Local favourites Royal Northern Sinfonia will also feature, performing Mozart, Strauss and two of Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos.
Chairman Nick Reckert said: "It's a great programme in the best classical music venue in the area."
Season tickets and single tickets can be bought online or at Castle Hill Bookshop in Richmond. For details visit rsconcerts.org
