ACCIDENT: Emergency services are at the scene on the A66 near Bowes
A MAJOR road has reopened after a shipping container feel off the back of a lorry.
Police closed the A66 westbound between Brough and Bowes following the incident near Stainmore at about 8.50am this morning.
The container had come loose from a flatbed lorry. No-one was hurt.
