A NORTH East college is set to host its first food and drink festival next month.
The ‘North East Feast’ food festival will see the local community in Redcar treated to a selection of food and drink, alongside performances from local up-and-coming bands.
There will also be a variety of craft stalls and giant inflatables on site.
James Hunter, Engagement Officer at Redcar & Cleveland College, said: “We want to create an open environment where the entire community can feel comfortable, so we’re encouraging the whole family, to come down and enjoy good food and drink at the North-East Feast.
“This is the first time the College has hosted an event like this, and we’re confident that it will be a roaring success. We’re even hoping to make it an annual event.”
The festival takes place on Saturday, September 2 from 10am – 4pm, with live music beginning at 11am.
