DAMAGE: Yorkshire Bank on Eston High Street Picture: GARETH REED
A NUMBER of men were spotted fleeing the scene of an apparent ram-raid at a bank.
Police were called at 9am on Tuesday after a white Ford Kuga went through the front of the Yorkshire Bank on Eston High Street, near Middlesbrough.
Early indications suggest that a number of men left the vehicle and stole cash boxes before getting back into the car and making off.
It is not known whether there have been any injuries as a result of the ram raid.
- Anyone who witnessed anything, particularly a white Kuga being driven erratically, is asked to call Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.
