A BOOT CAMP is being held to raise money to help a Chester-le-Street woman suffering from ovarian cancer.
The fundraiser is in aid of Lisa Harris, 46, who has had to sell everything she owns to try and raise enough money for treatment in Germany.
The mother-of-one was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer in 2015 and was in remission until January, when she was told the NHS could only offer her palliative care.
Her daughter Lori researched the German clinic online and believes the therapy may help her recover.
Family friend Caroline Allan is holding the boot camp fundraiser on Saturday, August 19 from 9am-11am.
There will be classes for all ages and abilities, including children.
The event is free to take part in and there will be collection buckets for people to make donations.
It is due to take place at Herrington Country Park.
