FREE hands-on gardening workshops will be held in Spennymoor during the summer holidays.
Grow at St Paul's, which is a community gardening initiative which makes use of the grounds at St Paul's Church, will host sessions designed to help people learn how to look after their own outdoor space.
People of all ages, including accompanied children, are welcome to attend and tools, gloves and refreshments will be provided.
Organisers say the sessions will not only offer up practical advice but also a great way to meet people.
They will be held on Thursday August 10 and Thursday August 24, from 10am to noon. No need to book a place.
