A TODDLER was found wandering the streets of Darlington alone this morning wearing nothing but a nappy.
The boy, believed to be aged between two-and-a-half to three years-old, was found walking along Clifton Road, in the South Park area of the town, at 8.15am this morning, sparking a search for the child's parents.
A spokesman for the police said he had not been reported missing, and that the Social Services had also been involved in the search.
Following door-to-door enquiries around the area during the morning, police said they believed they had traced the parents.
The spokesman added that the child was in good health but had been found very hungry.
