A MAN in his 60s was left with a broken nose following a robbery in York.
It happened in the early hours of Tuesday, July 4 as the man was walking by the riverside between Lendal Bridge and Water Lane.
The victim has no recollection of the incident but woke up with a broken nose and his wallet, mobile phone and some money was missing.
He can remember stopping to rest on a bench along the riverside and speaking to a man, but cannot recall any further details.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw the victim - who had long, white hair tied back in a pony tail, a white checked shirt, jeans and blue shoes - in the area at the time, or who has any information about the incident.
