A SCHOOL football team are celebrating a year of domination after picking up four trophies.
Toft Hill Primary School won every competition they entered, picking up trophies for the Teesdale League, the Teesdale Winter League, the Teesdale Cup and the Rudd Cup.
They won all their 20 games, with top scorer Adam Nelson bagging 20 goals in 17 games.
The boys, aged between nine and 11 beat 45 schools from across the Bishop Auckland area to lift the Rudd Cup earlier in the year.
Three members of the team have represented their age group at county level.
Midfielder and captain Ben Clarke said: "It's been a really good season.
"Winning the Rudd Cup was probably the best bit because we all had to work hard and we played as well as we could."
Teacher and manager Marc Sproat said: "It's a fantastic achievement. I've worked with the boys for a while now and they all really enjoy their football.
"They are still wanting to play football now, even though they're meant to be playing cricket.
"It's the first time since 1984 that we've won the Rudd Cup, so it's quite an achievement."
