THE National Youth Choirs of Great Britain has announced its first chief executive.
The choir, which is based at Aykley Heads in Durham, will be led by Anne Besford, who previously worked for Middlebrough Council.
The organisation aims to inspire young choral singers and provides musical outreach programmes.
Ms Besford will start in July.
