GRANTS of up to £3,000 are up for grabs to help ensure children have a summer to remember.
The Three Towns Area Action Partnership has allocated £7,000 for its Holiday Activity Grants Scheme and is encouraging groups and organisations to apply.
Grants of between £200 and £3,000 are available for projects aimed at children aged up to 19 during the school holidays. Examples include play schemes, holiday clubs, sport events, creative activities, fun days and trips.
Organisations are limited to one grant and the project must benefit children in Crook, Willington, Tow Law or surrounding villages.
